Last Friday we went boating to test out John’s boat after major rehab over the winter. It’s been years since I’ve been on the lake. You can see the silt where the Colorado hits the lake:

We didn’t sink! It was a fun ride.
Those giant black horse flies at the dock are SO annoying and their bites really hurt. I heard that the flies are there because of the feral cows and that the rangers want the cows out. I noticed the cows at Pierce Ferry last September.
