It seems like it’s been over 100 F for weeks, often 110 F in the shade, as this afternoon. I’m sure it’s been a few degrees hotter in Meadview since we’re up high in Unit 7.
We were quite surprised by the thunderstorm as there was not a chance of rain in the forecast.
Usually we only get a few drops, not enough to get the ground wet. As you can see, we’re in luck today!
Watching the thermometer drop down to 67 F in just a few minutes was amazing too.
The forecast calls for many more 100+ F days, but hopefully we’ll get lucky again.
