The Social Membership<\/strong><\/p>\n

1) The MCA requires that your lot MUST be in the MCA if you want to use the MCA facilities and your lot is within the designated MCA area.\u00a0 For example, Lake Mead City is outside the MCA area and it is also in Meadview, just like Unit 7 or any other Unit.<\/p>\n

Strangely, this form requires applicants to certify that they do not own property in Meadview. If you own a lot in the MCA area, you must join the MCA with your lot and there is no option to get out again unless the MCA is dissolved or you succeed in a lawsuit.<\/p>\n

I knew people in Lake Mead City with Social Memberships and they owned their homes.\u00a0 So, what gives?<\/p>\n

2) “I accept that the Board of Governors may revoke all rights and privileges of such accepted membership at any time.”<\/p>\n

Why?\u00a0 Without cause?<\/p>\n

“I agree to abide by the rules and regulations” — no link or any info what those rules and regulations are.<\/p>\n

LOT OWNER (Landlords\u2019) name ___________________________________<\/p>\n

1. I certify that I do not own property in Meadview.
\n2. I accept that the Board of Governors may revoke all rights and
\nprivileges of such accepted membership at any time.
\n3. As a SOCIAL MEMBER, I shall have no voting rights.
\n4. The sum of $85.00 for SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP shall be paid by such member.
\n5. I agree to purchase a key card for $10 for access to the facility. This is a non-refundable fee. I understand that the card is nontransferable and will be de-activated upon expiration of my SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP.<\/p>\n

SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP is good for one year from the date of payment. A
\nreminder notice will be provided one month prior to expiration for renewal
\nof membership.<\/p>\n

By signing below, I agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the
\nAssociation and to pay the required $85.00 for the SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP, if
