I hope we can make it to this workshop:

Learn pruning techniques for larger fruit and a healthier tree.

We will be covering fruit, nut and citrus tree pruning.

Please dress warm, as we will be doing the workshop outside on producing trees.

Presented by the University of Arizona Mohave County Cooperative Extension and Kingman area master gardeners.

SATURDAY, 1/14/12 10 AM to noon

Call to make your reservation and receive location information: 928-753-3788 or stop by our office at 101 E. Beale Street, Kingman, AZ 86401. For more information about the Kingman master gardeners go to http://extension.arizona.edu/mohave

It looks like our Fuji apple is already budding and if the flowers open, they will of course freeze.   I remember a January quite a few years ago when my plum tree flowered in January.

I’ve been enjoying the great weather, but hope it doesn’t get too warm.
