On Las Vegas radio they said Smith also had contaminated lettuce. We haven’t bought any salad in well over a year and just had a wonderful spicy salad from our gardens with fresh baked crusty rye bread. Between the sheep sorrel and Munchner Bier radish leaves it was nice to have some chard and a little of our forellenschluss lettuce. The best part about winter is the many spicy salads.
The only greens we buy at the store is cilantro. It bolted really fast in spring and then the mice ate what little we had growing.  Now we have about 15 cilantro seedlings in various beds and hopefully we’ll get to eat it too.
I wonder whether there’s a REGIONALÂ mailing list one could subscribe to for recalls in the Kingman / Bullhead area.
