It snowed last night. It melted quickly and we had a lot of wet ice on the patio table.
We’re glad we got some badly needed moisture. As I posted at the gardening club blog, we had our first freeze last week. Fortunately I harvested all the green tomatoes (over 11 lbs) yesterday and now we just hope that the greenhouse stays above freezing for a while as we have more tomatoes growing inside.
I sure hope it won’t get as cold as last winter, but we are determined to be better prepared. Just bought antifreeze and will hopefully wrap the outside waterlines before they break.
