9/21/08 Leo at the Coyote Melon Festival (Mohave Drums, discontinued like all fun events.)
I realize now that the heatwave killed Leo in his camper without any cooling in July. Unfortunately we only had one bedroom and were also without cooling (off grid), so could not help him.
I could have paid for a hotel room if we hadn’t been chronically broke because it’s tough to make a living when the “Meadview News” refuses your advertisements because I was “against the MCA”.
We have so many like Leo. Vets, disabled, poor …
Despised by the cliques running Meadview and not the kind of people our business people and real estate agents and investors want around. After all, Meadview is paradise and everybody is happy and lives forever!
I cannot unsmell the stench in Joanne’s trailer on Boulder after she decomposed for weeks in 2016 until the Schwan’s driver called for a wellness check.
Dementia, gun nut and dangerous, and of course her many cats all died too. She lived in filth, even her “friends” at the VFW abandoned her.
