I’m in the process of getting all MCSO (Mohave County Sheriff’s Office) reports in batches, starting with 2011 – 2013. Last year MCSO advised that there were NO reports prior to 2011.
At least two reports involve my LEGAL video recording of a meeting and then my attempt to review MCA records.
The MCA REFUSED to make copies of minutes and financials for me, I had to set an appointment at the MCA office to “review” the records and they called the sheriff when I started taking notes. I believe it was AJ, Ray and O’Keefe in the office, attempting to intimidate me and threatening me.
As I recall, until about 2013 the MCA paid Board Member Thom O’Keeffe for IT work. Apparently, it became an issue and he resigned from the Board. The Board then solicited bids but only posted at the MCA office building where the public would not see it. At a subsequent meeting, they announced that they received only one bid, by an LLC they claimed to know nothing about and they accepted the bid. I believe it was Thom O’Keeffe’s LLC.
I’ll try to confirm with the current board that I remember correctly and will update with their response.
